How to use WAJD

Pick your role for a short, step-by-step guide. WAJD is free for every learner.

Everything you need to learn, practise and track your progress.

1 Create your free account

Go to Log in and sign up as a learner. It is free, with no ads.

2 Take the placement test

From your Dashboard, take the short placement test so WAJD pitches lessons at the right level for you.

3 Learn and practise

  • Courses for guided lessons by subject.
  • Practice for questions with worked answers.
  • Past papers to revise with real exam material.
  • AI Tutor (when switched on) for step-by-step help with anything you are stuck on.

4 Do your daily mission and reviews

A few minutes of mixed practice and recall each day locks learning in. Your streak grows when you keep it up.

5 Earn rewards

Collect stars, badges and streaks, and earn a certificate of achievement for steady progress.

Set up a child or your class, then follow their progress.

1 Parents: set up your child

Create your child's account at Log in and give parental consent when asked. You can use your own email for their account.

2 Tutors: register and get approved

Sign up as a tutor. An administrator approves you after their safeguarding checks (DBS). You cannot manage learners until you are approved.

3 Create a class

From your tutor area, create a class and share the class code. Learners join with the code and appear in your class.

4 Assign and track

Set work for your class and watch progress and results come back, so you know who needs help.

5 Home and devices

For a full home-school curriculum, or a locked-down study tablet, use WAJDSchool (works offline once set up).

Run the platform from one console. (Full operator runbook lives with the code: MANUAL.md and TROUBLESHOOTING.md.)

1 Open the admin console

Go to /admin (admin accounts only).

2 Master switches (Features)

  • AI tutor on/off, Show WAJD Pro on/off, Campaign visible, Install app prompt, Deep analytics, WAJDcrew role models. Each saves instantly.

3 People and safeguarding

  • Approve tutors; record each tutor's DBS renewal date so expiry reminders can run.
  • Record parental consent for every child.

4 Money

  • Sponsors: approve, feature, and Edit link to add a sponsor's URL and monthly pledge.
  • Finance: donations and summed pledges; export CSVs to reconcile against Stripe.

5 Content and growth

  • Content studio: review and publish AI-generated content (nothing goes live unreviewed).
  • Exam-board syllabi: refresh to find the latest specifications (runs monthly on its own).
  • Analytics: sign-ups, activation and retention. Certificates: upload your signature stamp once.
