Features

AI tutor
When off, no learner text is sent to the AI model. Keep this off until international data-transfer safeguards are in place.
30-Day Challenge campaign visible
Shows the campaign banner and hero button on the home page. Full campaign controls are in the 30-Day Challenge panel below.
Himma journey board
The learner's journey page: their goal, missions, the abilities they unlock and the crew figurines they earn. Off closes every journey call and the page shows its "not switched on yet" panel instead. Nothing is lost while it is off: the board is rebuilt from work already recorded, so it fills in the moment it is switched on.
Counting the journey records...
WAJDcrew™ role models
Lets learners choose a WAJDcrew™ character as a role model and grow toward them. Shows on the WAJDcrew page and the dashboard. Uses only signals already tracked.
Install app prompt
When on, the installable apps (WAJD Homeschool) offer visitors to install the app to their device. Off keeps everything browser-only and never prompts anyone to download. Turn this on when you are ready to push installs.
Deep analytics (cohort splits)
Adds activation broken down by signup source and by stage on the Analytics page. Off by default because the splits are noisy with few users. Switch on once you have enough learners for the breakdowns to mean something.
Show WAJD Pro
When off, every WAJD Pro link, button and the Pro nav item are hidden across the whole site and the Pro page shows "everything is free". Billing and anyone's existing access are untouched, so it is safe to switch off and back on at any time.
Feedback capture
When on, WAJD asks for feedback at smart moments only, not all the time: after a visitor is settled in, once per session, never pestering the same person, and more often when the site is busy. A quiet "Give feedback" link also sits in the footer. Off hides all of it.
Voice helper
The pop-up assistant on every page. It answers from the Academy knowledge base on the WAJD Voice engine, by voice or by typing, and books callbacks when a person is needed. Off removes the button everywhere instantly; nothing else changes.

WajdQuran support prompt

A gentle donate and feedback card on the WajdQuran home page. Choose how often it appears. It is shown at most once per campaign on each device, so it never nags.
When to show
Monthly shows once each calendar month. Scheduled shows only between the dates below. Off hides it.
Message (optional; leave blank to use the app's own wording)

WajdQuran usage

Anonymous and aggregate only, no personal data. Which pages and features people use, the AI cost drivers, and whether readers go deeper (do they get the concept).

Switch each language button on or off for the WajdQuran translate bar. English is always on. These mirror the site footer languages.

Challenge Arena leaderboard

Names typed by anyone who plays the Arena, shown publicly to children. The filter masks rude names, links and contact details to Anonymous on the way in, and anything a visitor reports comes off the board straight away. Flagged means the filter changed the name: what the player actually typed is shown so you can spot a repeat offender. Use Hide to take an entry off the board and Restore to put it back.

Curriculum gaps

Pages parents checked with the "Check a page" tool that were not found in the catalogue. The photo is never stored, only the text we read. Mark a gap Added once its topic is in the academy, or Reviewed if no action is needed.

Certificates

WAJD Academy certificates for the WAJDSchool™ programme. Auto-issued on a schedule to learners doing well (active on at least 20 days in the term). Awarding body: WAJD Academy. Signed by the WAJD Academy Administrator.
Auto scheduling
When on, the daily job issues certificates automatically. Turn off to use manual review-and-send only.
Activity bar (minimum active days)
How many distinct learning days in the period a learner needs before they qualify.
Administrator signature / stamp
A PNG or JPG of your signature or school stamp; it appears on every certificate.
Issue manually
Award a certificate to one learner now, overriding the schedule.

Tutor applications

Self-registered tutors apply through a structured form (subjects, levels, experience, DBS position) and cannot add or manage any students until you approve them. Approve only after identity verification, an interview and a recorded Enhanced DBS check. Approving or rejecting emails the applicant automatically. Retention: a rejected application keeps a minimal who/when/outcome marker, and its free text detail is deleted automatically after 6 months (ICO recruitment guidance). Use Delete on obvious junk.

DBS & vetting expiry

Approved tutors and the state of their DBS check. Lapsed or soon-to-expire checks (within 60 days) are surfaced first. When a certificate arrives, use File DBS or Update on the tutor's row to record the checking body, certificate number, date checked and renewal date, and to attach a scan of it. Reminder emails go out automatically each day; tutors with a lapsed or soon-due check are nudged (at most once a fortnight) and the admin team gets a daily digest.

Attaching a scan is optional. The DBS code of practice says a copy of a certificate must not be kept longer than six months, so any scan you upload is deleted automatically on the date shown in its row. The recorded details stay on file as the safeguarding record.

Sponsors & donations

Applications come from the public Sponsor page. Approve a sponsor to show them on the wall; "Feature" sets the headline sponsor used on the monthly draw.

Finance & bookkeeping

On-platform donations and sponsor pledges, for reconciling against Stripe. Stripe is your book of record for card payments (it handles VAT, refunds and payouts and has its own accounting export); these CSVs add the who/why/which-campaign detail to match against the Stripe payout.
